By nature, the The Racing Experience is an outdoor event and dates are subject to change due to inclement weather. Therefore we urge customers taveling long distances to make refundable travel arrangements. THE The Racing Experience IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCURRED LODGING OR TRAVEL EXPENSES PERTAINING TO ANY CANCELLED EVENT.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
The The Racing Experience reserves the right to cancel any event due to inclement weather. Cancellations may be announced anywhere from 1 hour to 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Participants will be notified as soon as the event is cancelled by phone and/or email using the contact information on file. While RWRE will make every attempt to notify you about a cancellation, the final responsibility will fall on the customer to call and find out about an event status. If it is necessary to cancel an event due to safety concerns caused by inclement weather, we will do our best to accomodate your re-scheduling preferences up to 1 year from the date of your event. PROOF OF PURCHASE:
If you purchased your racing ticket through a 3rd party provider you must provide the proof of purchase prior to or at the time of your scheduled experience. If you arrive for your racing experience without such proof, you must authorize a full price hold on a major credit card in the amount your racing ticket in order to redeem your ticket and fulfill your experience. You will then have 10 days following your event to provide proof of purchase to the The Racing Experience to have your hold released.

SCHEDULING AND RE-SCHEDULING:
Please be aware that we have a limited amount of dates at each location. Times are filled on a first come, first serve basis. We will do our best to accomodate your scheduling preference. If you need to re-schedule a booked experience outside of 30 days of your event, you may do so free of charge. In the event you need to re-schedule your experience within 30 days of your event date a re-scheduling fee will apply. (Fees - $50 per driving experience / $20 per ride along experience) NO RESCHEDULING IS ALLOWED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF YOUR EVENT DATE. The one exception is for a documented medical situation which prohibits the customer from participating in the racing experience.

REFUND POLICY:
Your racing experience ticket is fully transferable, assignable and sellable. The ticket is NON-REFUNDABLE and generally can not be refunded; however, exceptions may be available under the following circumstances:

JUNIOR & ADULT RIDE-ALONG WITH A PRO
Take a high-speed ride in the passenger seat of a race car driven by an Instructor for 3 laps. Great for people who are at the track to see someone else drive. (Junior Ride-Along (ages 8-16) / Adult Ride-Along (ages 17 and up)

SIDE BY SIDE RIDE ALONG WITH A PRO
Ride Shotgun with one of our Instructors for 5 laps as he races side-by-side with another instructor!! This is as real as it gets, you’ll experience racing through the corners separated by less than 2 feet. You’ll pass another ride car and be passed coming off the corner, at our bigger racetracks you’ll even experience the draft!! Racing Ride-Alongs!! You’ll never forget it.

THE QUALIFIER
This class is for those who want to say "I did it!" You'll be on track for 8-10 laps, including your practice laps.

THE SHOOTOUT
Add more laps and little more speed! You'll be on track for 12-15 laps, including your practice laps.

START YOUR ENGINES
This is the class for those who just want enough laps to really get up to speed on the track, about twice as much as comparably-priced classes elsewhere. 16 -20 laps.

GREEN FLAG
Drive for 26-36 laps. During the session the clock may be stopped for a mandatory pit stop, giving you a brief rest from the intensity of the track. In the pits the crew will bring water to you and quickly check your car. Before you know it, you're back on the track. Now you're really getting the feel of the car. Your speed is climbing and your lap times are dropping!

CHECKERED FLAG
Here you'll get 36-50 laps of driving plus two pit stops. This is a lot of driving at one time - longer than many actual races. If you want to know what your favorite stock car driver does you won't get any closer than this. When it's over you'll be ready for a celebration and eager to come back for more.

RACE DAY/SUPER RACE DAY
Available in a one day session, you'll get a minimum 50-70 laps of seat time, divided into three driving sessions. You'll spend the time between sessions working with your instructor, talking to the crew and observing other drivers. It's a typical day at the track for a race car driver. The lesson plan varies according to the student population, the track and track conditions. Activities can include one-on-one pursuit with an instructor, side-by-side running and race starts. Most of all, there's plenty of high speed driving.
