Where do the cars come from? Each race car is purchased from a major NASCAR Nextel Cup team such as Roush Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Melling Racing, The Wood Brothers, and Hall of Fame Racing etc.. Every car has raced in numerous NASCAR Nextel Cup events and was driven by famous names in racing. What type of car do we race? These are actually raced NASCAR Nextel Cup Stock Cars. Racing Experience™ has the most current race cars in the industry with all cars being 2002 or newer Ford Fusions, Chevy Monte Carlo's, Dodge Chargers. Each car is setup exactly with the same shocks, gears, weight, etc.. The engines produce over 600 horse power with 425hp to the rear wheels. These cars are capable of running over 180mph on tracks like Talladega Super Speedway. They can reach top speeds of 165mph on most of the 1.5 mile tracks with beginning drivers. Is this safe? YES…..we have been conducting aggressive racing schools for over 14 years and have had over 25,000 drivers log thousands of laps. Nextel Cup Cars are specifically designed to protect the occupant. Having said that, racing is a dangerous sport and anything can happen at anytime. Are Gift Certificates Available? YES…..all programs are available for purchase and you do NOT need to select a day for the recipient to race. You may purchase an “open” certificate that is redeemable at any track on our issued schedule based on availability. What if it rains on race day ? We make every effort to conduct the days events. We will be on weather hold all day if necessary just like a real racing event. We have access to the available drying equipment provided by each track. As soon as the weather clears and the track dries we will begin with the first scheduled drivers. If we have to postpone the days events, you must call our offices at 1-888-RACING-8 to reschedule your program. There will be no rescheduling fee and NO REFUNDS are available. You must attend the day you are scheduled regardless of the weather forecast unless you are contacted by a Racing Experience™ employee prior to the days events. You may also call 1-888-RACING-8 for any last minute weather updates or information. Can we bring guests with us ? YES, YES, YES…..you may bring as many people as you like. There is no fee for attending and your guest may go through all aspects of the program except the on track activities.. They may attend the drivers meeting, be on pit road, take pictures, bring signs, banners and flags to cheer you on . We suggest that you bring a cooler with non alcoholic beverages and snacks, a few chairs and an umbrella. This is a family sport and we encourage everyone to attend. How is the Racing Experience™ different from others? We offer the thrill of racing a real NASCAR Stock Car never following a pace car and passing is allowed from lap 1 on. There will be 6-8 cars on the track at one time and your in car instructor serves as an on board spotter. Although he has no control of the race car from the passenger seat he can encourage you using hand signals that are covered in the drivers meeting. Our racing programs are the most aggressive in the country. You may reach speeds exceeding 165mph on some of the larger tracks. Tight DRAFTING, PASSING, Side By Side Racing without a pace car in front of you. We are also the only racing program that actually lets you race other cars...not just go around in a circle. If you're not passing...You're NOT Racing!™ Does this qualify me for NASCAR racing? No it does not, however it is the closest thing possible without investing hundreds of thousands of dollars. To meet the criteria for a NASCAR license you must contact NASCAR directly. What clothing do I wear? Tennis shoes or light weight shoes are a must. NO cowboy boots or work boots. Dress comfortably as your driving suit is worn over your clothes. Refunds There are no refunds, but all programs and Gift Certificates are transferable. Rescheduling requires a $50 fee. |
